🌅🦁 What a phenomenal Opening Night! 🎭

The stage came alive tonight with the incredible performance of Disney’s The Lion King Jr. by Shining Stars Theater Co. The talent, energy, costumes, and music were absolutely amazing. Our students truly shined! ✨

A huge thank you to Mrs. Perkins, Mr. Mitchell, and the entire team who worked tirelessly behind the scenes to make this production possible. Your dedication and passion created a magical experience for our students and our community.

And of course, bravo to the cast and crew for an outstanding opening night! 👏

If you missed tonight’s show, you still have a chance to catch this fantastic performance tomorrow night at 7pm at KRHS!

Won’t you join us and come see Lion King Jr. - on April 10th and 11th at 7pm at the Kearsarge Regional High School auditorium. Lion King is the classic Disney show full of wonderful songs, laughs and dance. You won’t want to miss it.

Tickets available at the door. $7 adults, $3 children.

Shining Stars is an after school theater club made up of students from 4th and 5th grade at KRES at Bradford. We have produced an annual musical for 23 years. Why do we do it? The children gain confidence, learn to speak, sing, dance, and act on stage. They are exposed to a new art form, one we hope they will learn to appreciate throughout their lives. They improve their relationships with peers as they work together to create this production and lastly, they learn they can take on a big challenge and be successful.

Why do we call it Shining Stars? We believe that all children shine brightly… whether it is in the classroom, on a ball field or on a stage. They just need to find their place in the spotlight.

Good afternoon,

Due to incoming winter weather tonight and into the morning, there will be a two-hour delay Friday, March 6th, for all schools, with no a.m. preschool. We will be monitoring area roadways and will update you as necessary should there be any changes. All updates will also be posted on WMUR's website. Please be safe while traveling tonight and tomorrow.

Dive in for a fun night of dancing, smiles, and special memories! Each student receives two tickets — one for themselves and one for the adult they choose. Light refreshments will be provided.

Kearsarge Families:

We will be canceling school for Friday, February 20, 2026. This will be a traditional snow day.

Our admin team examined an early release for our district with the timing of the storm and the impact that it would have on families in our district. Taking all of that data into account, I opted for a full day cancelation. We receieved the below from the NWS this afternoon and that changes how we were looking at afternoon runs.
