Last night, a crew from Bradford Fire was joined by members from Hudson and Charleston Fire Departments for hands-on training focused on vehicle extrication and patient entrapment scenarios. This was Week 1 of a two-part extrication training series designed to sharpen skills, build confidence, and strengthen interagency teamwork.

Training together like this ensures we are better prepared to serve our communities when critical incidents occur—incidents that we may, and likely will, face in the future. Strong partnerships, continuous training, and a commitment to excellence help ensure we’re ready when our communities need us most.

A big thank you to FF Lufkin from Bradford and Captain Knight from Hudson for organizing and leading this valuable training opportunity. We appreciate the time, effort, and dedication that went into making this event a success.

We look forward to Week 2!

Thank you Timber ridge lumber for the tour

Tonight crews from Station 63 and Station 17 were lucky enough to tour Timber Ridge Lumber. In light of this weeks events it was a great opportunity to see our local lumber mill and get to know its layout. We train like we fight and we fight like we train, so we’ll always be ready for what call comes next. Here at Station 63 our thoughts and prayers are still with the families and those recovering from the injuries of last Friday’s tragic fire. We will train and learn from these events because it’s what we have to do and it’s how we become better firefighters.👨‍🚒👩‍🚒

Have a good night,
Lt Hanson

The new 178 has come back from our friends at Caron signs, and is now sporting some new decals. They also lettered our forestry trailer and added our patch to the sides.

We are very happy how it came out!
