Members, guests and community businesses came out in full “bloom” for Bingo & Blooms! Congratulations to all the winners who went home with gorgeous orchids and gift cards to local businesses.

Proceeds help us get one step closer to replacing windows in our historic 1921 clubhouse. 🪟

Last night, our club was honored to participate in not one, but two Honor Flight welcome home celebrations, with members attending Southwest Florida Honor Flight in Sarasota and Honor Flight of West Central Florida in St. Petersburg.

Nearly 20 of our members joined hundreds of supporters in giving our veterans the hero's welcome they deserve. We were especially proud of member, Ann Colonna, who served as a guardian for a female veteran during her Honor Flight journey.

Few experiences are as moving as greeting our veterans when they return from an Honor Flight. The smiles, hugs, cheers, and heartfelt gratitude shared upon arrival make for memories that will last a lifetime.

We are thankful for every veteran who served our country and for the opportunity to help provide the warm welcome home they so richly deserve. Thank you to our veterans for your service, sacrifice, and dedication. It was a privilege to welcome you home.

❤️ Another great day of learning, leadership, and sisterhood with our fellow GFWC Florida District 14 sisters!

Many thanks to our District Director, Belinda Becton-McAbee, for her leadership, and to the GFWC Florida Tour Team for sharing “The Amazing Leadership Race.” 🏁 It was an inspiring and thought-provoking reminder that great leadership and meaningful service happen when we work together!

We loved the roundtable discussions, and left feeling energized, encouraged, and even more connected to our GFWC sisterhood! 💕
