Bradenton Woman's Club

Bradenton Woman's Club An all VOLUNTEER 501c3 service organization- women on a mission to serve the community. Their motto, “be not simply good, be good for something”.

An article inspired sixteen ambitious women to meet in the Jeplinor Hotel in March 1913 to organize what they hoped would be a service club. The outcome of that meeting came in June 1913 when nineteen ladies signed the Charter of Incorporation for the Woman’s Club of Bradenton. In 1918, with only $3.00 in the treasury, two lots on Wares Creek at the corner of Manatee Avenue and Virginia Drive were

purchased for the sum of $1500. The membership voted, in 1920, to build a clubhouse. In 1921, the building was completed. The Club had a beautiful home to dedicate. Our historic club turned 100 years old in 2021! Are you looking to do amazing things for those in your community? If so, come join this historic woman's club. We always welcome new members. We are carrying on a legacy founded by women with a passion for helping those in need. The more members we have the more we can do in our community. Follow our Events Page and join us at any general membership meeting to learn what we are doing and how you can help. www.BradentonWomansClub.com

Please join us in welcoming them into their new roles as we begin another incredible chapter of service, friendship, and community impact. Stay tuned for more meaningful service projects, special events, and activities throughout this administration.

We are by doing our part to support GFWC Florida President Terry Reese’s project. These snack packs were made as part of our district meeting last weekend and delivered today to these deserving firefighters at Bradenton Fire Station 1.

We guess the duck is out of the bag... we won first place at the Pace Center for Girls, Manatee Lucky Duck Race. Of our $5000 winnings from Firkins Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram, we donated $1000 back to Pace and will use the balance towards our window replacement fund on our historic 1921 clubhouse. Want to learn how you can help buy a window? Contact us now to be a part of Bradenton history!
