How about an after Thanksgiving 🦃walk around Desoto Memorial Park, Saturday morning, Nov. 25, at 9:45am?
We'll meet at the parking area for Riverview Pointe Preserve on 75th Street, which is located right before the entrance to the Desoto parking lot. 1 loop through the park =1 mile. Number of loops is up to you!🚶🚶‍♀️🚶🚶‍♀️🚶‍♀️

Join us for a walk on Saturday, November 18, 4:30pm, on Anna Maria Island. We'll meet at Bayfront Park (in front of restrooms), walk to Bean Point and continue on the beach to Pine Avenue and back to our cars. Looks like a beautiful afternoon for a walk!

Tomorrow, Tuesday, May 2, we will once again meet at Robinson Preserve 17th Ave entrance for our 3 mile walk over bridges and natural paths.
HOWEVER, the following Tuesday, May 9, there is a change! It's Debbie's last walk of the season, so we're heading to the beach. We will meet in the parking lot at the southern tip of Coquina Beach and walk up to Bridge Street.... on the paved path up and on the beach as we return. 🚶‍♀️🚶‍♂️🚶‍♀️🚶‍♀️🚶‍♂️😎
Approximately 3 miles.

REMINDER for Tuesday walk!
Northwest Bradenton Hiking Club walker, Emily, is heading back to Germany for the summer, and invites us all to a walk and community send off at her condo complex. Her message follows: 😊
"We’ll meet at Vizcaya Condos, 6101 34th St W, on Tuesday, April 11 at 6 pm and walk down to the bay like we did last year. Afterward we will enjoy a little "Farewell Social Hour" in our courtyard at 7 pm. We‘ll have water, ice tea and some fingerfood ready for you. Please bring your own beach chairs and any other drinks you would prefer. 😀
Emily will meet drivers at the gated entrance and we will park as directed in the visitors' area and begin our walk."

Hi, folks! We plan to add Tuesdays evenings back to our walking schedule, starting NEXT week, March 21! We'll walk in Robinson Preserve. Meet in the parking lot near the blue house at the 17th Ave. entrance to the Preserve. 6pm. This walk is approximately 3 miles.

We will CONTINUE our Saturday morning walks at Desoto Memorial, 9am, meeting at the small parking area, just outside the entrance.
