The Lakewood Ranch Swim Association was established in 2004 at the Lakewood Ranch Athletic Center, Florida. It started out as a summer team but quickly progressed to a year-round USA Swimming program. and a proud member of Florida Swimming, Inc. The Lightning team competes at USA Swimming sanctioned swim meets. The mission of the Lakewood Ranch Swim Association is to provide a supportive environme

nt in recreational and competitive swimming for children and young adults to develop self-esteem, increase swim skills, create lifelong friendships, and a true love for the sport of swimming. We are committed to promoting a healthy lifestyle, sportsmanship, self-discipline, and character qualities necessary to succeed in life. Lakewood Ranch Swim Association offers a multi-tier program based upon skill, talent, age, and desire. Swimmers are provided multiple days, times, and two locations to practice. Any swimmer wishing to join the team will be evaluated by the LRSA coaching staff.
