Jesus said that through much tribulation do we enter into the Kingdom of God. He never said through much trauma. Trauma is used by the enemy to destroy the soul, which is the mind, will and emotions of a person. We need healing from trauma, which is different from tribulation. Tribulation requires the power of God to endure . GET HEALED FROM TRAUMA THROUGH JESUS ❤️

This is difficult to put into practice but to God, every soul it’s important to Him. He sent Jesus to save all mankind but sadly many will reject Him. When we see our enemy fall or come into judgment, we are not to rejoice or take pleasure in that. No matter how deserving we deem our enemies to receive judgment, we are to be humble and thank God for His mercies on our life.

Proverbs 24:17-20

17 Do not rejoice when your enemy falls,
And do not let your heart be glad when he stumbles;
18 Lest the Lord see it, and [a]it displease Him,
And He turn away His wrath from him.
19 Do not fret because of evildoers,
Nor be envious of the wicked;
20 For there will be no prospect for the evil man;
The lamp of the wicked will be put out.

I know there are many posts about this hurricane. PLEASE keep us in prayer. No fear, just trust in the One who has carried us up until this day. Jesus protects His own. Psalm 91 the Blood of Jesus is more powerful than all the hurricanes that have ever taken place.

Suffering is never in vain

Eventually you find out why people were with you on your rise up. Some wanted notoriety, some wanted healing from their stuff so they felt like being part of something will fix them. Some wanted to ride the coat tails of your anointing. Some believed that you were their life partner and they wanted to fulfill their need for love. Some wanted fame. Some wanted position. Some wanted their unmet needs met. Whatever the reason is, you will find out when tough times come and everyone is suddenly gone. When that happens hold onto the One who will never leave you nor forsake you. Life comes in cycles so when you are in the part of the cycle where you find yourself totally alone, look right next you among all the empty seats. Jesus is there. In this lesson learn who and how to pick those will be in your tribe, your inner circle. Stay far away from the personalities of the past so that your pain doesn’t repeat itself. Just because someone prays all day and night doesn’t mean they are privileged to sit with you at your table. Just because someone has money or church experience doesn’t mean they are privileged to sit at your table. Just because someone promises you friendship and loyalty doesn’t mean they are privileged to sit at your table. What gives people the privilege to sit with you at your table and enjoy what God is doing in your life and your ministry is when God picks them. Let God give position. Let God give responsibility. Let God choose who sits at your right and left side. Trusting in people brings a snare and cursed is the one who leans on and trusts in the arm of flesh. Your time of promotion is at hand. This time around choose wisely because who you allow in your closest spaces will either bring life or kill your calling. Jesus is the friend that sticks closer than a brother.

There are many scriptures in God’s Word that give us the blessing for a long life. The most well known is to honor your mother and your father that you may have a long life, but were we ever taught about how God cares for animals and He offers us the blessing of more time on earth if we care for animals? I am an animal lover. I have always had a soft spot in my heart for animals and I came across these verses in Deuteronomy that shows God’s mercy to birds and adds a blessing on those who care for birds.

Deuteronomy 22:6-7

6 “If you happen to come upon a bird’s nest along the way, in any tree or on the ground, with young ones or eggs in it, and the mother sitting on the young or on the eggs, you shall not take the mother with the young; 7 you shall certainly let the mother go, but the young you may take for yourself, in order that it may go well for you and that you may prolong your days.
The Lord also tells us in Proverbs 12:10 A righteous man takes good care of his animal, but the tender mercies of the wicked are only cruelty.
God is concerned about how we treat animals so take good care of the animals in your life. ❤️

God is a God of specificity. When someone asks for prayer for an unspoken request we don’t receive answers. Many will say that God knows what is needed. Absolutely God knows everything however His Word is very clear when Jesus said, “ask and it shall be given.” Which tells us that we need to ask God for what we are wanting. That means specificity is required. How many of us would go to our parents and say that we need something without being specific about what it is that we need. There is power in our words according to the Bible and God requires us to be specific when we ask Him for what we need.

As followers of Christ what we should give to others is mercy, not justice. Justice says, “ you did this so you deserve this.” Mercy says, “you did this but I forgive and release you from the consequences.”
The consequences of our sin, every one of us, deserves and eternity away from God. That is justice. God in His infinite mercy took justice out on His Son so that we would receive the mercy due His Son. Who would not want to serve God after understanding what He did for us.
Who on this earth would give up their only innocent son and turn him over to a brutal horrific death and torture for someone else who committed hanus crimes? Not one! Yet this is exactly what God did for us.
Whether we just told a small innocent lie or lived in immorality for years, under the Law, we are guilty of all the Law. So God in His infinite mercy came up with a plan to buy back, (redeem), mankind by giving up Hos only begotten Son to trade places on our behalf and sacrifice His life in place of ours. This is the gospel, the good news!
What a merciful and loving God we serve. No mere words from the vocabulary of every language could ever sum up what He has done for us.
Thank You Father for giving Your Son on my behalf. Thank You Jesus for suffering the torment that you did for me while I was yet a sinner ❤️😭
