Glori Kohlmann has been drawing and painting since she was a young girl. She received a BFA in Fine Arts from FSU, which included studies in Europe. She soon opened a studio for freelance artwork and portraits. Gloria also spent 10 years as a hospital assistant chaplain using art programs with patients and times of prayer.

On participating in the Las Meninas Project, Gloria said, "personally I could never think of a more worthy effort and inspiration than what this project meant to me. Yes we all benefited from the work by the organization's generosity, but the executing of the work and project became the paramount experience. I would give anything to do it again and again.

Artist and healing arts practitioner Diane Cahal worked with the FCS Trinity Cancer center to create their menina, "The Lady Hope." There, Diane experienced the power of her work, noting that, "through our workshops, clients turned their low-energy days into better ones. One reluctant participant left with a big smile on his face saying, "I actually DO feel a lot better about today. Thank you for letting me do this." It was an emotional moment for myself and his caregiver; just one of the many examples of the benefits of Healing Arts Medicine."

More about Jason Harvin! Jason is the owner of Wayward Walls, LLC. Over the years he came to find a deep passion for space transformation through art and painting, specifically, geometric design.

His menina at Bradenton was named Anabelle Grace and a labor of love by everyone at the clinic. "She was born out of a dedication and commitment to hard work, something I recognized immediately upon meeting and engaging with the staff and volunteers," Harvin says. "The jobs these caretakers willingly embrace daily are nothing short of amazing. Their commitment to their patients and ensuring that they receive the absolute best quality of care was noticeable everywhere in the clinic."
