Meet the winners of the 2nd IJCA Jigging Tournament held on July 20th and 21st.

- **First Place, for the second consecutive year: Team DEREK'S THE MATE.**
- Capt. Dion Davis, Derek Engle, Benny Ortiz, Josh Hanna, Joe Vito, and Chad Busiere (also winner of the Largest Fish category with a 34.5 lb Kitty Mitchell).

- **Second Place: Team Deep Intention.**
- Capt. Anthony Belmonte (Figure it Out), Marta M de Tuya, Michael Garret, Bart Richie, Skylar Young (SlowPitchBaits), and Ervin Hoskins.

- **Third Place: Team Slow Pitch Mafia.**
- Capt. Tim Noe, Ronnie Maldonado, William NG, PJ Natalizio, Ethan Olah, and Tristan Terorotua.

The winners received cash prizes as well as Vanfook kits, The Fisherman's Hut gift cards, SlowPitchBaits jigs, and Saurus Jigs. The prize for the largest fish went to Chad Busiere for his 34.5 lb Kitty Mitchell.

Yesterday was an unforgettable day. We held the 2nd IJCA Jigging Tournament Florida at Caddy’s Bradenton and Tarpon Pointe Marina LLC. Nearly three years ago, we founded the International Jigging and Casting Association Ijca_usa, with the intention of promoting vertical jigging in the United States. We have so many ideas: tournaments, seminars, workshops... We’re just getting started. It’s incredibly rewarding to see the results of our hard work bringing together dozens of people interested in this sport.

Yesterday, we had 9 boats competing, and it was amazing to see the excitement and camaraderie among everyone. We’re forming a great group! I want to thank each and every one of you who have supported us from the beginning, the sponsors, the friends who helped set up and take down everything, helped with the raffles, scoring, and photos. We didn’t build any of this alone but together.

IJCA is a non-profit association, still young but determined to bring together all those interested in the promotion and growth of vertical jigging in the United States and worldwide. I ask each of you to follow IJCA on Facebook and Instagram, invite your friends, help the association grow, and along with it, the vertical jigging community. Visit our website, sign up for the newsletter. We have a lot of work ahead, many ideas, and we continue to count on everyone’s support.
