Laurel Lake Association Laurel Lake is located in Brackney, PA. The Laurel Lake Association, Inc. is the recognized representative body of the Laurel Lake Community. b.

Purpose of The Laurel Lake Association according to By-Laws:
a. To ensure that the quality of Laurel Lake water, the dam and its environment is maintained at the highest level possible. To acquire, hold and sell all properties as may be necessary for the aforesaid purpose. The lake is an important asset to all residences. We encourage everyone to join and support the Association. Membership in the Laurel Lake Association is voluntary, but highly recommended.

STOCKER'S HISTORY (1887):
The Church of Christ in Silver Lake and Choconut was organized Feb. 16, 1816, adhering to the Congregational or Presbyterian faith... It ceased to exist in 1837. ..., a new church was formed March 21, 1847 ..a meetinghouse was built on the west bank of Mud Lake. On Nov. 27, 1847 the new church was incorporated with the name Presbyterian Congregation of Silver Lake.
