The Ramshorn will be another venture with the same emphasis on quality, camaraderie, and excellent drivers’ roads. In recent years more and more attention has been paid to the air-cooled Porsche, and there is a growing fan base of drivers who have learned to appreciate our rear-engine cars. Drivers with an affinity to hit a corner harder and come out faster has led
to the saying Never Lift which i
s all the more appropriate for Porsches. Some of our participants will be life-long Porsche enthusiasts,
while others have recently jumped on the wagon with the recent collectability of these cars and are looking to get a taste of rally driving. Whichever you are, we welcome you to join a group of like-minded people. The intention of the Ramshorn Rally is to explore roads that are more inclined for the “Finnish Flick” and the truly outlaw concept of
Porsches and to travel rural roads through vast landscapes. In future years this rally will explore routes throughout the West including
Montana, Colorado, Utah, Northern Arizona, Oregon, The Dakota’s and New Mexico. Our mission aims to replicate the proven success of the Going To The Sun Rally by putting on a first-class rally and donating our
proceeds as a charitable event to needy concerns including fallen Highway Patrol families. Our event will be a memorable experience with friends in the car community and the beautiful American scenery through which the rally runs.
