Calming The Storm (V.2-i.248) The Unity Message
~ HOLY SOUL OF LIFE: Bless us today with a deep abiding peace, wherein our Divine Life and Light rests true and constant at the center of our being. Let this peace be the cornerstone from which our lives are built. AMEN
Our words of grace are: INNER PEACE. Our affirmation of wise love is: IN A BUSY, BUSTLING WORLD, I REMAIN PEACEFUL AND CALM.
Even as our obligations and activities keep us busy and engaged with the world, we can remain inwardly serene. We at peace, for we maintain our daily spiritual practices that keep us aware of our constant connection with the Divine. Let us start each day with positive affirmations to help us set our intentions for the unfolding of a peace-filled day. Let us follow with a gratitude practice that reminds us how abundantly blessed we truly are. Let us take those positive felt-thoughts into a restful silence of prayer, wherein we are fully centered and grounded in Love’s embrace.
Living such a Spirit-led life is a choice we make every day. We build up a peace in our relationships and encounters. We spread peace though our calm bearing and kind acts. We share peace through compassion, giving freely of ourselves in love.
“The Lord lift up his/her countenance upon you and give you peace.” – Numbers 6:26
There is a balancing Wisdom present as Love and Light, Peace and Counsel, even as the churning surface of life tosses and turns in transient times of rages and storms. The depth of Spirit is steady and true, even if surface appearances seem riotous.
It is no accident that a prime parable the mission of the Christos-Sophia brought to our awareness, is the story of Jesus calming the storming sea. As the metaphor tells it, the Christ I AM is crossing the sea of emotions that we all possess. The I AM is accompanied as always by the twelve powers or archetypal faculties represented as the twelve disciples. When they set out from one shore, they feel centered and safe and secure. The I AM is such that it can even enjoy being asleep, fully in divine peace. The disciples by contrast are awake, and looking about them, curious as all get out, watching every wave.
In the middle of the journey, when you can no longer see the shore you left, nor the harbor of your destination, your secure landmarks are out of sight, your beliefs, if you will. You are secure only if you have faith in that which is yet unseen, your harbor of destination... And, should a storm arise within or without you, it is so easy to lose faith and fall into panic. Any of our individual faculties can panic, and can spread that panic to all the other faculties as well, for the deep enduring center of faith has seemingly gone missing.
Blessed be, the center of the disciple’s faith, was sleeping in the leading, the guiding bow of their boat. Even in their panic, they knew to seek the peace providing comfort of the divine guide who was with them. The Christos-Sophia, the divine idea and form, was awakened for its help. And what did the Christ I AM say, as the power of the creative word? “Peace be still” were the words uttered to the thought of storming. And what was the formative power, the Sophic wisdom, that was put into action? The I AM heart, still filled with divine connection, spoke out a vibration of peace that saturated the winds and waves, and they complied without hesitation. The inner had become the outer.
Let us affirm, that at depth;” Peace be still,” will calm any storm of worldly appearance we may meet. AMEN
Love and Blessings
