The Beta Rho Chapter of Sigma Chi is the oldest Fraternity at Montana State University. Sigma Chi is Currently the largest collegiate fraternity in the world.

We are comprised of a diverse group of men whose purpose is to cultivate and maintain the high ideals of friendship, justice, and learning. With over 300,000 members, 230,000+ living. Our bonds of brotherhood are found in all parts of the world.

This week’s Brother of the Week is Tyler Lara!

My name is Tyler Lara. I’m a senior studying Sociology with hopes of going into Aviation after graduation. I am from Eugene Oregon and love lifting, snowboarding and spending time with the boys. Joining Sigma Chi has given me opportunities that I’m confident I wouldn’t have found elsewhere. Whether it is the connections with my brothers, leadership positions or the cultivation of a higher set of values; I will carry the memories of my time here with me for the rest of my life.

Hello my name is Nate Stibal. I am a senior studying Microbiology and German. I grew up in Victoria, Minnesota and came to Bozeman for a different set of views and to meet new people. I like watching football and traveling. Joining Sigma Chi has given me the support to pursue some lifetime goals, such as studying abroad and opportunities past undergrad. The incredible friends I have made in this fraternity are friendships that will go beyond college. I’m so thankful to be apart of this fraternity and everything it has given me.
