ASA Welcomes Marcia Jedry as Director of Finance & Operations.
Marcia brings in a world of experience with association management, finance, operations, marketing and nonprofit leadership.
Most recently, she served as Executive Director of the Wyakin Foundation and has also held leadership roles with NAIFA Idaho, IACI and Idaho FFA.

She holds a degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from the University of Delaware. She is excited to return to the agriculture industry as part of the ASA team.

Doug Parke is a passionate, lifelong promoter of the Simmental breed who has been involved in every piece of the business. His early career working for prominent breeders solidified his love for Simmental. He took this knowledge to his family’s DP Sales Management, which has been supporting Simmental breeders for decades.

The American Simmental Association is hosting a virtual town hall tonight, Tuesday, September 29th at 5:30 PM MST covering the updates to $API and $TI.

The webinar will include a short presentation by ASA staff and members will have the opportunity to submit questions through the meeting platform.

Jim is a partner in his family's Gateway Simmental, and has been a leader in the breed for decades.
