The Montana State University chapter of Engineers without Borders has been working with the community of Khwisero, Kenya since 2004. Our interdisciplinary group of students combine their talents to develop and implement water and sanitation projects in primary schools around Khwisero. During the school year, students spend hundreds of hours fundraising, grant writing, and developing the projects t
hat a student travel team will help implement the next summer in Kenya. EWB-MSU works closely with a local board of directors in Khwisero, and hopes to work together to forge a powerful connection with the community and effect meaningful change in schools. EWB members are students from many different majors- accounting, economics, engineering, sociology, graphic design, history, geology, and everything in between. You do not need to be an engineer to be a member! There are tons of things to do throughout the year: event planning, fundraising, designing new latrines and wells, Kenya-MSU relations, and more. We meet every Monday at 6pm in the Leigh Lounge of the SUB. Join us anytime!
