This Friday, Donna McDonald, Owner of Upper Canyon Outfitters will share stories from her lifetime spent ranching and guiding in Montana’s backcountry.

Donna will talk about her family’s history on the ranch, the women who kept it going through changing times, and her own experience as one of Montana’s first licensed female outfitters. She’ll also discuss the importance of public lands and why Montana’s outdoor traditions matter for future generations.

Three cheers for this year’s Bozeman Sunrise Rotary Club scholarship recipients! Each graduating senior was selected based their on leadership, civic duty, volunteerism, and academic success.

The 25-26 scholarship winners are:

» BHS Student of the Month Audrey Schaub, who is headed to the University of San Francisco Nursing School with plans to become a NICU nurse

» BHS Student of the Month Heidi Huber, who will attend California Polytechnic State University to study communications and journalism

» Keiley Orr, who will attend beauty school in Bozeman

» Paola Ayala, who is beginning a path into healthcare starting with EMT training

» Kayla Kronske, who plans to pursue criminology or cosmetology after a gap year

These students were recognized at last Thursday’s Community & Memorial Scholarships Award Ceremony hosted by the Bozeman Schools Foundation. Congratulations!

Huge thanks to Dave at KSKY Country for having our members Brandon and Laura on air today to share details about Saturday's EPIC Day of Service and Kids Fishing Day.

Bring your family to Glen Lake Rotary Park for Kids Fishing Day starting at 9 AM, followed by a free lunch and a few prizes.

Our club will also be hard at work for Rotary International's EPIC Day of Service, planting shrubs and beautifying the new south entrance.
