We're hosting the National Championship! Who is ready to be a Powder Hound, or possibly even a National Champion and qualify for Team USA? Woof, woof!

A lack of snow in the northeastern United States has forced USA Triathlon to shift its 2012 Winter Triathlon National Championship to the Powder Hound Winter Triathlon on Jan. 29, 2012, in Butte, Mont.

The excitement is building! Long course race registration ends this Thursday at 11:59 PM. Sprint race registration ends Friday, 11:59 PM. Individuals and teams are welcome. What's your status?

Bozeman Triton Triathlon, Bozeman, Montana. Formerly known as the Treasure State Triathlon and Headwaters Half, these races have been a fixture in the Gallatin Valley since 2006. The half Is the first and only long distance triathlon in the state of Montana.

Ford Ironman Coeur d’Alene starts off with a two-loop swim in beautiful Lake Coeur d’Alene. The bike course takes athletes through rural northern Idaho and the run course, known for its spectator support, is the highlight of the race.
