Hello All!

Our first meeting of the year will be held in person in the CHS Room (Linfield 231) at 5:15 PM Wednesday September 8th. Just a heads up, we will be opening nominations for the position of reporter since that office was not filled at our spring election.

Below is also the link to join on zoom if anyone would prefer that. As masks are required on campus, we will all wear masks at the meeting and if you would prefer not to do so, join virtually.

Hello All!

I hope summer treated you well. As you may have heard, Catapalooza is on Monday August 23rd 10 AM - 3 PM this year and CFFA has a booth as usual. I have attached a signup sheet; please drop your name in for a shift or a few. We should have at least 2 people at the booth at all times but welcome more if you are available. There is also a slot for setup which will be approximately starting at 8 AM until we are finished prior to the event at 10. Please sign up for that as well, I would appreciate as many volunteers as we can get!
I will be around throughout the event in case there are any questions. Please text or email me if you have any questions prior to Catapalooza.

“Just a heads up that we are changing the date of our next meeting from 4/7 to 3/31. At this meeting we will be discussing all things State Convention as well as opening nominations for the next officer team. A full agenda and minutes from the previous meeting will be sent out closer to the meeting. As Fall 2020 Commencement has come and gone, we would like to congratulate our two graduating members, Heidi Froelich and Makayla Paul.

Heidi graduated with a degree in Agriculture Education - Communications Option with a minor in writing.

Makayla graduated with a degree in Animal Science Management & Industry.

Congratulations on your achievements and thank you for all you’ve done for CFFA! Good luck in your future endeavors!

This year has been a wild ride, with so many uncertainties. While we might not know what each day may bring, we can be sure about one thing: it’s National Convention Week! And even during these changing times that don’t allow us to celebrate together in Indianapolis, this is a big week for Montana FFA!

Our own Mamie Hertel served as the National FFA Central Region Vice President. Mamie, we are so proud of you. You have served with grace and acted as an inspiration for students across the nation! You’ve inspired us to find the “more” in our lives and we can’t wait to see where your next journey takes you!

Andee Baker took a chance and ran for a National Office. While things didn’t happen like we had hoped, we continue to be incredibly proud of her!

To all of our CFFA members receiving your American Degrees: you worked hard and it paid off! Getting your American Degree is such an honor, and we commend you!

Claire Stevenson and Caroline Roeder are representing Montana FFA at the National level as Proficiency Finalists! Good work, ladies!

Make sure to tune into Session 2 tonight at 5pm (MST) to watch Mamie give her retiring address!

On behalf of the CFFA Officer Team, happy National Convention week! Wherever you are, we hope you are celebrating the blue and gold!
