We are a Film Appreciation Club at Montana State University. Take a break from school troubles and see the movies and serials which directly influenced Lucas's ideas for the Star Wars Original Trilogy. Each week, we will discuss, banter, & riff over all the dusty classics in the Adventures, Sci-Fi, and Samurai cinema. The Fall Semester Line-Up Includes:

Our Purpose:
The Star Wars saga is known and recognized as one of the most successful movie franchises made, and part of that success deserves to be given to the backlots of SciFi, Adventures cinema. Before sampling, before hip-hop, before mash-up videos.... George Lucas pieced together so many film tropes to make a greatest saga filled with rich characters and visuals. This club is your change to see and experience all the great (original) ideas that found a home into the Star Wars vernacular. If you like Star Wars and are excited for The Force Awakens mid-December, then you will dig this club. No costs, no responsibilities - just watch and enjoy. LOCATION: VCB 182
