Running uphill isn't easy, but this crew does it with style and grace.
They know it makes them stronger, and more fit. There is a social benefit of shared hard work...or is it called mild suffering??? 🤟🔥💯!

Announcing the first annual Cross Cut Junior Trail Championship!

We collaborated with to create this amazing opportunity for middle school trail runners to test themselves in a challenging, fun local race!

There aren't many races like this in the country for this age group! We thought why not make it happen in Bozeman, along with the popular Cross Cut 20k!

It will be 5 miles with approx. 1000' of vert. Runners will navigate a 2.5 mile loop twice, offering spectators a chance to see their athletes twice.

Things we learned at Trail Sessions:
1. Duck duck goose is still popular in middle school.
2. You can fit 9 7th graders in the back of a Subaru Outback (during a lightning storm!).
3. If there's a river, runners will jump in it.
