But when water is closer to home, change flows through daily life.

Families can practice proper hygiene.

This International Women’s Day, we celebrate the resilience and leadership of women building better futures for their families and communities. 🌏👩🏾‍🤝‍👩🏼

Across our programs, women gain the tools and support to:

✅ Create opportunities in their communities

Among the women benefiting from these programs is Salome from Kakuma Refugee Camp in Kenya.

📧 At the U.S.-Mexico border, we welcome 2026 with joy and growth!

As we step into the new year, residents at the border shelter pause from gardening.

It is a moment to reflect on the joy and generosity of the past season.

During the traditional Mexican Christmas celebration called las posadas, residents came together to share.

Winter clothes, backpacks, handbags, school kits, and toys were distributed. Children enjoyed pizza and chose their favourite toys.

Everyone joined in the spirit of giving, young and old alike.

We are deeply grateful to the volunteers, partners, and members of the wider community whose generosity made this possible.

Their support extended beyond toys, with essential items such as handbags for women, work backpacks for men, and school supply kits for boys and girls generously donated by BOYD Industries, helping meet everyday needs.

In 2026, we look forward to more art and literacy programmes, gardening workshops, and sustainable cultivation projects.

👩🏽‍🦱 Closing the gender pay gap is vital to improving women’s lives and advancing justice for women.

Without fair pay and access to resources, women are locked out of pathways to independence and financial stability.

Still, for many, opportunities remain limited.
