Rest is holy!

Rest isn’t lazy it is holy.
Sabbath was God’s idea— we pause and we breathe.

That’s why we’ve built intentional pace into Healing Villages. We want to build from rest and identity — not performance and control.

So, we are peeling it way back, turning our phones off, and learning to listen to the Spirit. Over the months of July, Aug, and Sep our family will be taking a sabbatical to get some deep rest and refreshment.

Burnout isn’t a reward you get for hard work. Busyness isn’t a badge of honor—it’s a warning light.
