In this episode, Maddie is joined by Arizona sheep guide Joel Ingram to discuss drawing his Arizona desert bighorn sheep tag and the hunt that ultimately kicked him out of the Less Than One Club.

Joel shares how years of guiding sheep hunts shaped his approach to his own tag, why he focused on finding an old, mature ram rather than chasing score, and what he learned while preparing for and hunting one of Arizona’s iconic desert sheep units. He also talks about training for mountain hunts, the role conservation plays in creating these opportunities, and why he’s committed to giving back to Arizona’s wild sheep.
