Firefighter Friday!!🚒🔥🧑🏼‍🚒

Our Firefighter of the week is Firefighter/EMT Noah Welch!! Noah joined the Hyalite Rural Fire District as a Driver/Operator/EMT in the Fall of 2023 and proceeded to complete Recruit Academy in the Spring of 2024! He has enjoyed working his Friday Day Shift and serving breakfast for all who are around that day!!☕️🥞🍳 Outside of the Fire Department Noah enjoys hunting, fishing, hiking, golfing, attending concerts, anything physical, and being a Husband and Father! Today is Noah’s last Friday shift, as he is leaving Hyalite Fire to pursue a career with Moline IAFF Local 581 !! Help us wish Noah and his family good luck! We will miss you!

Spring Recruit Class Graduation

This week our Spring ‘26 Recruit Class Graduated and had their Firefighter Pinning Ceremony!!🧑🏼‍🚒🔥🚒 They put in 4 months and 250 hours of Volunteer Time in order to complete their Academy! Congratulations to our 9 brand new Apprentice Firefighters!!🧯

Today our spotlight is on all of our Volunteers!! We had a busy June, between calls, our Annual Wildland BBQ, and all of the other activities we enjoy! We appreciate our communities continuous support and we look forward to a fun and busy rest of the summer!

Our Spring ‘26 Recruit Class is starting to come to a close!! With only a few weeks until Graduation they are still working hard and learning!! Today the Recruits got to practice Vehicle Extrication!! 🚒🔥🧑🏼‍🚒🎉

Our Firefighter of the week is Firefighter Myles Brown. Myles joined the Hyalite Fire Department in the Fall of 2025. He just graduated from the University of Green Bay with a Bachelor’s in Finance and Economics! This Summer Myles plans on spending time mountain biking and on the river. His favorite Hyalite memory was training in the snow this past Winter. Myles enjoys Wildland Firefighting and riding bikes with friends. He also has a niche interest in motorcycles!

Firefighter Friday!! 🚒🔥🧑🏼‍🚒

Our Firefighter of the week is Firefighter Ella “Setters” Kristiseter!! Ella Joined the Hyalite Fire Department in the Spring of 2025. One of her favorite Hyalite memories was her first shift after academy when she got a call for a working Structure Fire!🔥Outside of Hyalite, Ella enjoys working as a Ranch Horse Trainer and Ranch Foreman in Livingston. She is also currently studying Building Construction and Property Management! This Summer she is looking forward to “embracing the great outdoors” by training her horses, exploring the woods, or maybe getting on a Wildland Fire. In Ella’s free time she enjoys fishing, camping, drawing, attending concerts, and making memories with her friends and family.
