Last week, we had the honor of welcoming Cardinal DiNardo to visit Prayer Town!

Cardinal DiNardo is currently serving as Apostolic Administrator of the Diocese of Amarillo, where our Motherhouse is located. We are grateful for his support and service to our Diocese and to the Church!

The Diocese of Amarillo is currently celebrating 100 years since the founding of the Diocese- and we are so thankful to be part of it!!

☀️ We have TWO Sister birthdays to celebrate!

🩵Sister Mary Thomas’ birthday was Saturday, June 6! She was working hard with the Prayer Town volunteers that day and I’m sure took a few rides on the tractor!

🩵Sister Gabriel Mary’s birthday is today! She is currently serving as our local superior at the convent in Pittsburgh, PA.

After several months of drought and wildfires, we needed some big help to clean up brush and fallen branches at Prayer Town. Your hours spent volunteering are keeping the Sisters safe!!

👀VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!!

🔥Because of the excessive drought in the Texas Panhandle, there have been many wildfires very close to our Prayer Town. We desperately need volunteer help to clean up the brush, branches, fallen trees, and weeds- to keep our Sisters and our home safe.

📅We are hosting a Volunteer "Clean Up" Day at Prayer Town on Saturday, June 6 from 9:00am-3:00pm.

✋We are looking for fifteen or more volunteers. Could you help us? Come as a group, with your family, or as an individual- and lunch is provided!

☔️ The Sisters were amazed that after the rainfall, a double rainbow appeared over Prayer Town, touching down over Our Lady of the Angels Chapel.
