Last week, FARR’s own Lauren and Mandy had the privilege of representing the Florida Association of Recovery Residences at the Floridians For Recovery Leadership Summit in New Smyrna Beach! 🌴✨

It was an incredible opportunity to connect, collaborate, and align with key leaders and advocates—including Senator Rosalind Osgood, Jeff Breedlove, Susan Nyamora, and the Floridians for Recovery team—all working together to strengthen our recovery community.

Last Wednesday, our team became Mental Health First Aid-certified through Alpert Jewish Family Service of Palm Beach County.

Huge thanks to our trainers, Tatiana and Tim!

The course covers warning signs, a five-step action plan for initial support, and how to connect people with professional help.

Free, open to anyone 18+, and the certification lasts three years.

Nassau Sober Living is officially certified by the Florida Association of Recovery Residences (FARR) and the National Alliance for Recovery Residences (NARR) as a recognized recovery residence program right here in Nassau County.

FARR and NARR set the gold standard for sober living—establishing strict guidelines around safety, structure, ethics, and accountability. Certification means a program is committed to providing a clean, supportive, and recovery-focused environment where residents can truly rebuild their lives. It’s not just a title—it’s a commitment to doing things the right way.

We are proud to share that we are the only certified recovery residence program in Nassau County serving individuals seeking sobriety and long-term recovery.

This moment didn’t happen overnight. It’s the result of 14 months of consistent work, dedication, and a clear mission since the day we opened our doors.
