Operation Connor Share

Operation Connor Share Operation Connor Share was started in 2009 when my son was 3 years old in an effort to show him what it is like to help those less fortunate.

When my son was 3 years old we had invited my father to come to Thanksgiving dinner. At the last minute he was asked to go to a country club. Connor and I had seen a few people in our area walking the streets with no place to go. I decided that I would teach Connor how to pay it forward. We cooked the thanksgiving dinner and put together 10 red solo plates covered with tin foil. We headed out to f

ind 10 people. The smile on the faces of the people touched us so much that we decided to share our story. We posted the photos on facebook and we had friends respond who wanted to help so the next year we fed 50 people. The following year we did the same and we fed 100 people. Last year we fed 200 people and put together bags filled with everything someone living on the streets might need. Socks, tooth brushes, tooth paste, etc. Our goal is to grow every year!

Dear friends and supporters,
We need your help please. Currently we have a disabled mom in a wheelchair with a special needs son and two teen boys that are currently homeless. Our donation funds are extremely low. We need assistance in helping give them a few more nights in the hotel and we are in need of bed covers to protect hotel mattresses or chucks. We also need toiletries and snacks.
If you have a few dollars to spare we would greatly appreciate your kindness and generosity at this time.

This is Operation Connor Shares 11th Anniversary of awarding the James M Brennan Memorial Scholarship to a high school senior at Connor’s Alma mater. You can see from the photo Connor was in the 4th grade.

The photo you see are the names of the two alumni awarded the scholarships.
We feel very blessed to continue this program honoring the legacy of Connor’s grandfather (my dad)
