The mission of the Brothers In Arms Foundation is to be the premier nonprofit organization supporting the Marine Special Operations Community (encompassing MARSOC, Marine Force Reconnaissance Companies, and Reconnaissance Battalions). We “fill the gap” by providing "outside the box" financial and logistical assistance to wounded, Fallen, ill and injured Special Operations Marines, Sailors, and their families.

I do hope the signed original letter finds its way to the President. Yesterday Raider Air once again pulled off something great for total strangers. A massive team effort involving our planning staff, logistics team, pilots & crews, family liaison officers, Secret Service Airspace Division, Army Casualty Branch, Armed Forces Mortuary Affairs and the guys on the ramp at Dover. This came at no cost to the families or the government thanks to our all volunteer force. As the families boarded the jets yesterday, the hugs and thank you’s received is the exact reason we do this. We will never forget James Feehan 🖤Isabella Gonzales 🖤 Angel Rampersad 🖤 Michael Swinton 🖤 Semper Fi 🇺🇸

Today marks two milestones that belong together. America turns 250, and the United States Marine Corps has already marked its own 250th, standing right alongside her. To honor both at once, artist Stephanie Clark created an original painting for this year's Blacksite event, and it tells the whole story in a single frame. Look closely and the story runs deeper still. The flag that rises between these two Marines is the Betsy Ross flag, its thirteen stars set in a circle on a field of blue, and Stephanie is a descendant of the Betsy Ross family herself. The very banner tied to her own ancestor now stands at the heart of her painting, joining her family's place in the founding of the nation to the tribute she has created.

On the left stands a Marine of 1776. On the right stands a rendition of the late MSgt Eden Pearl, a modern day warrior, a hero, and the very reason Phillip Noblin started the Brothers in Arms Foundation was founded in 2009. Two hundred and fifty years stand between these two Marines, but no span of time changes one truth. They are brothers in arms.

This past week our Raider Air crew had the honor of getting Major Capers into Washington and around the city for his Medal of Honor ceremony. A week like this does not run on luck. It runs on good people who show up and get it done.

Dan, you were my number two and the brain behind the operation. While the rest of us were reacting, you were already three moves ahead. Crayons always sharp and in the right order.

Alex, Ward, and Will, you kept the wheels turning and the rides smooth all week. Every pickup, every drop, every tight window. You made it look easy, which means you did it right.

Alan, as always you ran vehicle logistics from afar like a man pulling strings behind the curtain. We never saw you, but we felt you (in a no-homo way) in every vehicle that showed up exactly where it needed to be.

Jim, thank you for graciously supplying your bird. Getting the Major where he needed to be with that kind of class is something we will not forget.

And to mini me (my son) who took his duties as Director of Hydration very seriously. You kept this team watered and somehow also managed to personally dispose of most of the cupcakes at every official event we attended. A true professional. We never did find the rest of them.

Without you guys the Major’s special week would have been a whole lot harder on the old man and his friends. From the bottom of my heart, thank you.

And to the LEOs who made sure we never had to slow down all week, you guys are absolutely awesome. We see you and we appreciate you.

We’re proud to release a handful of our latest Brothers in Arms Foundation challenge coins, and a lot of heart went into this one.

On the front, you’ll find our logo, the same one we’ve carried for 17+ years. Yeah, we’ve been at this for almost two decades.

On the back, we honor two milestones at once: our nation’s 250th anniversary and the Marine Corps’ 250th.
