Vice Rector Fr. Tim Cusick and the SVDP community are excited to celebrate with Bishop Stephen D. Parkes and the Diocese of Savannah at the ordination of Fr. Jared Miller and Fr. Frederick Williams (SVDP 2026) along with their diocesan brother Fr. Noah Austin Pace (Notre Dame Seminary 2026) on Saturday June 6, 2026 at the Cathedral Basilica of St. John the Baptist.

May God continue to lead these men as they begin their priestly ministry!

Yesterday, the Diocese of Raleigh celebrated the ordination of Fr. Drew Navarro, SVDP class of 2026, joined by many newly ordained and classmates. We pray for Fr. Drew and for all the men ordained this summer!

Some of our seminarians did their Offering to Merciful Love this past semester, entrusting themselves more fully to God’s mercy so that His love can shape their hearts and future priestly ministry in a deeper way . This has been a beautiful moment of grace in our community, and we are grateful for the quiet but powerful ways the Lord is at work in their lives . As you accompany our seminarians in prayer, would you consider asking the Lord how He might be inviting you, too, into a deeper trust in His merciful love and a more generous life of prayer?

This weekend, the newly ordained SVDP alumnus, Fr. Juno Lee, was happy to celebrate his First Mass at St. Patrick Church in Norcross, GA. We wish him many blessings along with his classmates who will faithfully serve the church for years to come!

The power of their ministerial impact has already been felt by those who received their first blessings, attended their first masses, and were first to receive the sacramental grace of Reconciliatio. Please pray for them as this ministry continues, God willing, until their Eternal Reward.

Compartimos con ustedes la última columna de "La Fe en Acción" escrita por nuestro Rector, el Padre Alfredo Hernández, después de más de 22 años acompañándonos cada semana con sus reflexiones.

A partir del 30 de junio, esta querida columna pasará a manos de Mons. Manuel de Jesús Rodríguez, recién nombrado Obispo de Palm Beach, quien continuará con esta hermosa labor de evangelización.

En esta despedida, el Padre Alfredo nos deja un mensaje profundo sobre la esperanza, el amor sacrificial de Cristo en la cruz, y el llamado a no temer al entregarnos por los demás.

Dear Friends of SVDP Seminary, this Saturday we will be hosting the St. Ann Youth Choir from St. Ann Catholic School at SVDP in St. Vincent's Chapel on campus. This concert is free to all who wish to attend and is the choir's annual fundraiser. The concert will begin at 7:00 PM on May 16, 2026. This past Saturday, May 9th, nine men from St. Vincent de Paul Regional Seminary and Redemptoris Mater Seminary were ordained to the priesthood for the Archdiocese of Miami at St. Mary's Cathedral. We are proud to witness the yes these men are giving to God, his Church, their Bishops, as well as the transformative grace of the Sacrament of Holy Orders commissioning them to serve as priests for the whole people of God. Let's continue to pray for these men so they may be holy priests, excellent leaders, and good shepherds for today's Church!
