💚💛 What an incredible honor for Rhonda’s Promise, Inc.! 💛💚

Today, my heart is filled with gratitude as Rhonda’s Promise, Inc. was recognized as an “Unsung SHEro” of the community during the 2026 Women’s Day Celebration at St. Paul AME Church in Delray Beach.

The theme, “Reflect, Renew, Rise: Walking Boldly in Our God-Given Purpose,” truly spoke to me and the work we do every day at Rhonda’s Promise.

We were also blessed to hear from the phenomenal Val Demings, who served as the Guest Speaker for this beautiful Women’s Day celebration. Her presence and message made an already special occasion even more meaningful and inspiring.

Five years ago, Rhonda’s Promise began with a vision and a calling to serve, uplift, and empower others. To see our organization recognized for the work we are doing in the lives of teen girls, women, and senior citizens is both humbling and encouraging.

I am so grateful to Rev. Tamika Moore, Women’s Day Chair Sis. Sandra Edwards, and the entire St. Paul AME Church family for seeing the work, recognizing the mission, and honoring Rhonda’s Promise. Thank you for the beautiful recognition, certificate, and award—and especially for making us feel so loved and appreciated.

This honor belongs to our Board of Directors, volunteers, mentors, donors, community partners, supporters, and everyone who believes in the mission of Rhonda’s Promise.

As our motto says, “Rising to lift others up.” We will continue serving, connecting, empowering, and walking boldly in the purpose God has given us.

🌟 WOW! What an incredible honor! 🌟

I am humbled and excited to share that I have been nominated for a Women of Worth (WOW) Award in the Non-Profit category! ❤️

The Women of Worth Awards recognize remarkable women whose professional excellence, leadership, accomplishments, and commitment to service are making a difference throughout Palm Beach County.

For me, this nomination is especially meaningful because service has always been at the heart of everything I do. Through Rhonda’s Promise, Inc. I have been blessed with the opportunity to serve and empower teen girls, senior citizens, and women while working alongside an amazing community of supporters, partners, volunteers, board members, mentors, friends, and family.

This recognition is not mine alone. It represents every person who has believed in the vision, supported the mission, and helped Rhonda’s Promise continue to make an impact. 💕

Thank you to the Central Palm Beach County Chamber of Commerce and to whoever thought enough of my work and service to nominate me. I am truly grateful.

On Thursday, August 27, I look forward to celebrating alongside so many phenomenal women who are doing extraordinary things in our community.

Whether or not I take home the award, being recognized among these Women of Worth is already a WIN! 🏆✨

I’m grateful. I’m humbled. And I’m reminded once again that when you lead with purpose and serve from the heart, the impact reaches farther than you may ever know.

💗 My Heart Is Full! What a Beautiful Birthday Lunch! 💗

A huge THANK YOU to all of the wonderful seniors from our Aging Gracefully – Supporting Our Seniors Club who joined me today to celebrate my birthday! 🎂🎉

There is something so special about being surrounded by people you love while enjoying good food, great conversation, lots of laughter, and beautiful fellowship. You all made my birthday extra special, and I am truly grateful for every hug, smile, birthday wish, and moment we shared. 💕

I also want to give a very special thank you to my mentor, Mildred Locke. ❤️ Thank you for your leadership, your example, and for showing me the way. You taught me the importance of honoring, celebrating, and creating meaningful experiences for our seniors.

I am proud to keep your tradition going. What you poured into me continues through the work I do today, and I hope I can continue passing that same spirit of love and service on to others.

Our seniors deserve to be seen, celebrated, supported, and loved! That is exactly what Aging Gracefully is all about.
