Today we join Camp Quality USA in honoring Indigenous Peoples' Day. 🧡

Michigan is the homeland of the Anishinaabe peoples, including the Ojibwe (Chippewa), Odawa (Ottawa) and Potawatomi, along with other Indigenous nations whose history and resilience continue to shape our state.

We're grateful for all the children, families, volunteers and community members who make Camp Quality Michigan a place where every kid belongs.

Today, on Indigenous Peoples' Day, we honor the history, cultures and resilience of Indigenous peoples, past and present. 🧡

We're grateful for the Indigenous children, families, volunteers and community members who are part of the Camp Quality family. Your stories and strength make our community richer, and we're proud to walk alongside you.

At Camp Quality, our Healthcare Team helps make it possible for children impacted by childhood cancer to safely experience the fun, freedom, and friendships of camp. We’re so grateful for the nurses who choose to share their expertise with our campers. 💛

This summer, the Boyne Thunder community showed up for kids with cancer and their families, and we are overwhelmed with gratitude.

Every one of those dollars becomes a week where a child gets to be a kid first and a patient second. Where siblings are celebrated. Where parents finally get to breathe, surrounded by people who understand. And where all of it is free for the families we serve, at five camps across Michigan.

To everyone who revved an engine, made a gift, or cheered from the shore: you are part of our Camp Quality USA family forever. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

"Thanks to the incredible generosity of everyone who joined us for Boyne Thunder this summer, Camp Quality Michigan received $131,726 for kids facing cancer and the families who love them.

What does this incredible donation do? It means a child who has spent months in hospital rooms, surrounded by beeping machines and waiting rooms, gets to be a kid again. Swimming, laughing, climbing, singing around a campfire, with friends who understand without needing to ask. It means a brother or sister, who so often gets forgotten when cancer takes over a family, gets to be celebrated, too. It means a mom or dad who hasn't exhaled in months finds a community of parents who truly get it, and a chance to rest knowing their child is safe and supported. And it means every bit of this is free for every family. No bills, no barriers. Just joy, belonging, and hope at 5 different camps in Michigan. Because of our Boyne Thunder supporters, a child who thought cancer took their summer gets it back.

To everyone who revved an engine, made a gift, or cheered from the shore: thank you. You didn't just raise $131K. You gave kids with cancer the magic of summer camp and year- round programs."

We couldn't have said it better! A child's health care is about more than medicine!!

National Child Health Day is today and it's a reminder that a child's health is about more than medicine. It's also about joy, friendship and feeling like a kid.

For a child with cancer, that can be hard to find. Treatment fills their days, and their families carry the stress, the cost and the loneliness that come with a diagnosis.

Camp Quality gives children with cancer and their families free, camp experiences and year-round program support. At CQ, children and their families find a community that gets it, and moments of pure fun and hope.

Throughout September, our amazing 100 Mile Challenge participants came together to log a collective 1,228 miles in honor of all Camp Quality Michigan campers! 💛

Every mile represents hope, strength, and support for children and families affected by childhood cancer. We are so grateful to everyone who participated, donated, and cheered us on throughout the month!

As Childhood Cancer Awareness Month comes to a close, we hope you take a few important things with you into October. 💛

🎗️ Childhood cancer doesn't end when September does. It is affecting children and families in our communities every single day.

🎗️ Camp Quality is a place for these children to simply be kids. We provide free camp experiences and year-round programs for children with cancer and their families.

🎗️ Free for families doesn't mean free to provide. It takes generous donors, dedicated volunteers, and community support to make these experiences possible.

🎗️ You can be part of the difference. Whether you make a donation, participate in a fundraiser, or volunteer your time, you can help make Camp Quality possible for the next child and family who needs it.

While Childhood Cancer Awareness Month may be ending, our commitment to our campers and their families never does. At Camp Quality, we're here to create moments of joy, build friendships, and provide a sense of belonging all year long.

Let's keep the gold shining long after September. ✨

Winter Family Weekend is all about making memories, spending time together, meeting other Camp Quality families, and enjoying a weekend filled with laughter and fun

Activities include

🛷 Snow tubing
🎳 Bowling
☃️ Snowman-building competitions
🚜 Snow groomer rides
🔥 S’mores by the fire
❄️ And so much more!

Never skied before? No problem! Our amazing ski volunteers are there to help beginners learn and build confidence on the slopes.
