The BASD Music League is having another clothing drive fundraiser. For every pound of items collected, and with the hope of 100 or more bags of donations, the ML will receive a stipened per pound. As always, the Music League supports all district music programs from kindergarten through 12th grade.

In preparation of the clothing drive, I will be opening the football concession stand ticket booth to collect your donations on Wednesday, July 8th from 5-6 pm.

The other collection will take place in August during one of the band camp weeks.

This is an opportunity to drop off any bags you have already collected. Please remember to keep shoes in a separate bag. Items must be secured in 13 gallon bags. Please tie them up. Last year we had clothes and stuffed animals falling all over the place and things falling on us as we were loading the truck.

Thank you for coming out to Rita’s Ice on 6/3. It was a really good night for cold treats. We raised $604!!!!

I wanted to take a minute and thank everyone for coming out to Rita’s this evening. It was probably their busiest night. The line was never ending. It was great to see so many people out supporting the Music League. The prize wheel was constantly spinning!

Thank you to Mercer, Wilson, Greg Wilson, Allison, and the other Wilson daughters (sorry I don’t know their names yet), Logan, Kingsley, Eli, Daniel and anyone else I am missing.

I will update you with the profit when I get the numbers from the manager.

On this Taco Tuesday/Cinco de Mayo, make sure you order your Moe’s Taco Kit before 5/11. Help support all of the music programs in the Boyertown School District. $10 profit from each kit sold can help fund all music programs from kindergarten thru 12th grade.
