Last night, members of the Junior Woman’s club of Boyertown, their spouses and friends enjoyed a Social night planned by our Social Committee!! Adriane Zapien led them on an Old Soul Stroll tour while sharing her wealth of knowledge about the history of Boyertown, specifically at the intersection of Philadelphia and Reading Avenues The weather was perfect for their almost 2 hour tour. Everyone enjoyed the evening so much that we plan to hire her for another stroll through a different section of Boyertown next year!

This upcoming Wednesday April 22nd and Thursday April 23rd is the GFWC Junior Woman’s Club of Boyertown’s Dine and Donate event at Vincenzo’s in Douglassville!! Just bring this flier and mention us and we will receive 10% of all checks that will allow us to give back to local area organizations!! Good Food and Giving Back combined into one meal!! Hope to see you there!!

On Saturday the Boyertown Junior Woman’s Club had a table at the Coming Out Of Hibernation event in Boyertown!! We got an early start on celebrating Earth Day by having a variety of plants for people to pot and take home with them!! There were also Earth Day coloring pages, puzzles, mazes and more for the kids to take home. Volunteers from Althouse Arboretum were there to assist members during the event and the BJWC had a basket to raffle off which the proceeds went to Althouse Arboretum!! It was a fun day for all :)

Thanks To All who came out on Saturday, March 28th for our Girl’s Night Out Basket Raffle!! It was a great night raising funds for Boyertown Fire and Rescue Station #1!!!

Our "Once Upon a Prom" event which was recently held at Boyertown YMCA has helped dress dreams come true again this year for many local girls.

This year, more than 110 teens browsed hundreds of new and gently used dresses donated to the event. Most left with multiple dresses, plus shoes and jewelry to complete the look.

The Boyertown Junior Woman’s Club collected Easter Baskets for Multi Service this month!! So happy to have given 26 baskets for some very deserving children in the community!!

On Monday evening the Boyertown Junior Woman’s Club met at St Columbkill’s Church.

- Evan Swartley spoke to the group about Understanding AI. A very informative presentation and a question and answer session followed.

- The Refreshment Committee had the St Paddy’s Theme!

- Members of the Month were Carol Eidle, Debbie Brumbach and Ally Fleischman.

Many years ago, the Junior Woman’s Club of Boyertown made wooden replicas of several buildings within the Boyertown community. Last night the Boyertown Junior Woman’s Club had their February Meeting at Chestnut Knoll where the program was BINGO with the Residents!! So many Winners!!

Following BINGO we held our meeting and we had Jody Boal and Jamie Cascino join us as new members!!

Members of the Month were Jayne McHugh, Kathy Kuser, Annette Mueller and Vicki Yerk.

Our collection for the month was for Help A Girl Out and we collected 53 Boxes of Feminine Hygiene products!
