Small, but Brave.

Kids can be small. Sometimes the things in front of them can feel BIG.

We can believe the lie: “I can’t do this. I’m too small. I’m not brave enough.”

But what if we remember the real truth?

We were created by a big God. We are loved. We are chosen. We are not alone. And because He is with us, we can be brave.

Being brave doesn’t mean you aren’t afraid. It means you choose to move forward even when you are afraid.

Sometimes the smallest step of courage is the biggest victory.

Remember the truth. Be brave. Shine On!

When you Stop, they Stop.

“When I am afraid, I put my trust in You.” — Psalm 56:3

When you’re anxious or afraid, your horse can feel it. You stop, they stop. You tense up, they feel it.

So sometimes the best thing you can do is stop. Breathe. Trust.

We can do the same with God. When fear takes over, stop and turn to Him. He is right there.

We were created on purpose, with purpose, and we are meant to be here. Sometimes life makes us question where we belong or wonder if we are enough. But God doesn’t make mistakes.

At Shine On Youth Ranch, we hope every kid learns to see themselves the way God sees them—loved, chosen, created, and exactly where they are meant to be.

The new kid (or horse ) on the block gets lots of looks!
As we begin a new school year, we pray our kids will shine God’s light to those new faces. Be the one who welcomes, encourages, and makes someone feel like they belong.

Therefore encourage one another and build each other up. — 1 Thessalonians 5:11

Sometimes we just need a helping hand to remind us we don't have to do everything alone.

At Shine On, we are learning to trust-our mentors, our horses, and most importantly, God.

Trust in the Lord with all your heart. Proverbs 3:5

Some wells run dry, but the living water Jesus offers never does.

Come thirsty. Come tired. Come just as you are. He is the well that will never run dry.

Whoever drinks the water I give them will never thirst. — John 4:14

Keep drinking from the Well

Sometimes life can feel hard. Like a rough piece of stone with no beauty in sight.

So we keep chiseling away—one little piece at a time—until we begin to see what was there all along. And sometimes, when things get really hard, we call in reinforcements! We weren’t meant to do everything alone.

God is shaping us, refining us, and bringing out the beauty He created in us.

Keep going. Keep shining. Go Shine in the world!

For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works...— Ephesians 2:10
