The sunshine and drier weather made for such a wonderful evening at the ranch. Watching the smiles, hearing the laughter, and seeing the connections growing between these kids is amazing. God is good.

What stands out most is the confidence that's beginning to shine. To see the snuggles that are given both directions fills my heart with joy. The horses have a way of teaching lessons that words often cannot.

So grateful for these moments, these memories, and the reminder that growth happens one small step—and one horse—at a time.

We talked about puzzle pieces. Each piece looked different and had its own place. By itself, it didn't seem like much, but when all the pieces came together, they created a masterpiece.

It got me thinking about us. Sometimes we wonder where we fit or if we matter, but God already knows exactly where each piece belongs. He takes our gifts, struggles, stories, and differences and uses them to create something beautiful.

The horses are different. The kids are different. The mentors are different. Yet somehow God brings it all together in a way only He can.

So thankful for the reminder that none of us are here by accident. We are all part of His masterpiece.

Created on Purpose

Every child who steps onto the ranch matters. They are not here by accident. They were created with purpose, loved by God, and designed for something special.

Through horses, mentors, and God's love, we help them discover the gifts He has placed inside them.

For we are God's masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things He planned for us long ago.— Eph 2:10

The ranch will get a donation for every shirt purchased!!

Proceeds support horse feed, farrier visits, and free youth mentorship sessions at Shine On Youth Ranch.

The rain made the horses dirty and the kids got to work brushing away the mud, and tangles.

As I watched, I couldn't help but think how God does the same with us. He brushes away the past, the mistakes, and the things we've carried too long, replacing them with a crown of life and a fresh start.

The kids did an amazing job cleaning those horses. Now let's hope they go home inspired to clean their rooms too!

God has a way of teaching big lessons through simple moments at the barn.

Love isn't just something God does; it is who He is. When kids feel seen, heard, and accepted, they catch a glimpse of His love in action.

We pray that every child who walks through our gates knows they are deeply loved by their Creator and valued EXACTLY as they are .

We love because He first loved us. 1 John 4:19

One of the amazing things about horses is how they calm us. They slow our breathing, help us focus on the present, and ground us when life feels overwhelming. Standing next to a horse, feeling its steady presence, can be a beautiful reminder of God's presence with us.

We may not always see God, but we can feel Him. In the quiet. In the peace. In the slowed breath. In the gentle nudge of a horse.

What a gift it is to experience His nearness in such a simple way.

Sessions last week focused on Psalm 145:18:

"The Lord is near to all who call on Him."

How near is God?

We may not be able to see God, but can we see our breath? We know it's there, even when we can't see it. God's presence is much the same. He is closer than we realize.

He is encouraging you when you're struggling. He is listening when you pray. He is showing up in unexpected ways. He is wrapping His arms around you through the kindness of a friend, a smile from a stranger, or a hug when you need it most.

God is near. Always.

Sometimes we just need to slow down and notice Him.

Last night I stood looking at the weather and wondered if God was telling us to cancel sessions or trust Him and continue.

So we prayed, trusted, and took the leap of faith.
What amazing volunteers God has provided. They showed up with tents, encouraged one another, shared smiles and prayers, and even got their brand-new boots muddy.

The rain held off when we needed it to, and the kids got an evening surrounded by horses, mentors, and God's love.

A beautiful reminder that sometimes faith means moving forward when the forecast says otherwise.

"And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up." — Galatians 6:9

Thank you, Lord, for providing exactly what was needed.
