On a fridgid night when the gusting winds howled around the Boyd House, Sasha asked the spirits to knock..the room went still…

1692.. Reverend George Burroughs was hanged in Salem accused of leading a coven of witches.

As the noose tightened, he did the impossible… he flawlessly recited the Lord’s Prayer. The crowd gasped. witches weren’t supposed to be able to pray.
Moments later, he was dead.

Some say his spirit never left the gallows hill, whispering the same prayer into the cold night wind…

It’s not often that we capture something this direct, but the raw intensity of the word made it feel like a flashback to a time when these mobsters ruled the streets..their defiance and raw energy still echoing through the walls.

Was it one of the mobsters making their presence known? Or just the energy of The Old Baraboo Inn interacting with our equipment? Whatever it was, it’s another intriguing piece of evidence that adds to the mystery of The Old Baraboo Inn.
