“I Refuse”

Sometimes I, I just want to close my eyes and act like everyone’s alright,
when I know they’re not. I could say a prayer and just move on like nothing’s wrong,
but I refuse.
‘Cause I don’t want to live like I don’t care. I refuse to sit around and wait for someone else
to do what God has called me to do myself. I could choose not to move
but I refuse. I can hear the lea

And I know we are the hands and feet of You, oh God. So, if you say move, It’s time for me to follow through, and do what I was made to do. And show them who you are.

stand and watch the weary and lost cry out for help

turn my back and try and act like all is well

I refuse! We came across this song after God gave us the vision of Silver Storm. This song does a wonderful job of explaining the reason for Silver Storm and our hearts desire to refuse to sit around and wait for someone else to do what God has called us to do ourselves! We refuse!
“Catch the Vision”
Imagine…it’s a nice summer evening and you just arrived at your county fair. As soon as you start walking, you hear music. You think, “Wow, this is good enough to be on the radio!” And then you hear the words being sung. “I’m running back to your promises one more time, Lord. That’s all I can hold on to. I gotta say this has taken me by surprise, but nothing surprises you…” “Isn’t that the new song by Kerri Roberts?” You’re getting closer to the stage and begin to see all the colored lights and this team that looks and sounds way too good to be at a county fair! The stage, the lights, the team, it’s all so captivating! They’re having so much fun and they’re so good! The next song starts. That’s a Casting Crowns song! It sounds just like them! Then, the stage gets dark and the anticipation begins to build as the song starts. A man dressed as Jesus appears out of the blue lights and fog. A girl is in the corner crying. What’s going on? Soon, there’s all this stuff happening on stage, things that remind you of your own struggles in life. You wonder, “Is this just for me?” There are people flocking to see this and without even realizing it, they are watching the love of Christ through a drama so powerful that you and the people around you begin wiping away tears. You are being shown that there is way more to this Jesus than you ever knew. As the human video ends, a man begins to tell people that this is real! Jesus really loves you that much! And he’s waiting for you to begin your life with Him right now! As a beautiful song starts to play, people start looking for the staff in Silver Storm shirts as many begin their new journey in Christ. Could there be a more beautiful sight?
“The Plan”
1. Gather support and spread the vision of Silver Storm.
2. Assemble a group of spiritually mature Christians that are talented in music and drama. Who are willing to dedicate this time in their life to ministry.
3. Find churches to help us book events.
4. Purchase the necessary equipment.
5. Go, and do!
