MIYO COHORT 1 APPLICATIONS ARE NOW OPEN
Miyo Youth Wellness Center is excited to launch our first-ever Cohort Program for youth entering 1st–3rd grade this summer.
We know families may have questions, so here is a simple overview of what to expect:
✅ What is Cohort 1?
Cohort 1 is a small-group wellness program designed to help children build healthy habits, confidence, positive relationships, cultural connections, and social-emotional skills through hands-on activities and supportive adult mentorship.
✅ What Cohort 1 is NOT
This is not summer school, tutoring, or academic remediation. While youth will learn and grow every day, the focus is on whole-child wellness and development.
✅ How the Application Process Works
• Families must complete an application for each child in grades 1-3.
• Applications are available at Miyo and will also be sent home through local schools.
• Completing an application does not guarantee selection.
• Applications will be reviewed, and 20 youth will be selected to participate in Cohort 1.
✅ Program Details
📅 June 22 – August 14
🕣 Monday–Friday | 8:30 a.m. – 2:30p.m
Incoming 1st–3rd Grade Students

✅ More opportunities are coming! Cohort 1 is limited to 20 youth, but additional Miyo Pathways opportunities for many more youth will be announced in the coming days. If your child is not selected for Cohort 1, there will still be ways to participate at Miyo this summer!
📌 Applications close June 10.
📌 Families will be notified by June 16.
We are excited to begin this next phase of Miyo and look forward to partnering with families as we help youth build strong foundations for a healthy future.

For questions or to pick up an application, please contact Miyo Youth Wellness Center at 406-395-1866, email [email protected], or stop by the front desk. 💙💚

Our goal is to ensure that every aspect of Miyo is thoughtfully designed to support the long-term wellness, growth, and success of the youth and families we serve.

Thank you to everyone who has supported Miyo's vision. We are excited about what lies ahead and look forward to sharing more info asap.

📣❗️ATTENTION OSKAYAK INTERNS & PARENTS ❗️📣

We are so proud of all the students who participated in Oskayak and hope they grew in their leadership and mentorship skills during the opening phases of Miyo.

Oskayak was designed as a peer mentorship and leadership-building program, with a strong focus on responsibility and growth. Throughout the program, students were taught expectations and life skills such as communication, tracking their sign-in/sign-out sheets, managing their hours, and completing assigned tasks independently.

These are important skills that help prepare them as they continue to grow into positive role models for younger students. We appreciate your support in encouraging their independence, accountability, and leadership throughout this learning experience.

📢📢NEXT STEPS:

Extra health consent forms have been dropped off at both schools if needed. Initially, these forms were sent home with students on the last day of the internship.

Please note: Chamber Bucks WILL BE HELD until the health consent form is signed, fully completed, and turned in to Miyo.

Chamber Bucks will be ready tomorrow and dropped off at both schools. If students do not receive their Chamber Bucks tomorrow, Friday, May 29, they can be picked up beginning June 1 at the Miyo Front Desk (West End Entrance).

IMPORTANT:
• Chamber Bucks WILL NOT be available at the RBHC Finance Office.
• The student MUST be present in order for Chamber Bucks to be released.
• If the consent form has not been turned in, Chamber Bucks will not be released.

Thank you!!
