SHOOTS: March 15, April 19 and May 17. The shoots begin at noon and each shoot is $3.00. All shoots are held at the Bowmanstown Rod and Gun Club, 525 Club Road, Palmerton PA 18071.
We take a break in the summer from shoots and will return to our shoots on September 20,2026. Mark your calendar for the third Sunday of the month!!!!

MEAT RAFFLES: March 15, April 19 and May 17. A $25 Door Prize at noon, 2, and 4 pm. You must be present to pick up the Door Prize. 10 Meat Packs will be raffled each month. March is Pork Loins, May is Steaks and June is Steaks. (Note yes we have 2 months of Steaks by popular demand). Meat Raffles will not be held June, July and August but will return om September 20.

Egg Hunt done in partnership with the Fire Company and BARC will be held on April 4th at the Ball Field in Bowmanstown in the event of rain we will meet at the Fire Company. Check FB sites BARC, Bowmanstown -Parryville Lions Club and Bowmanstown Volunteer Fire Company for update if we have inclement weather. Spring activities will begin at 3pm including photo ops with the Easter Bunny and Carrot, craft and games. The Egg Hunt will begin promptly at 4 pm.

Basket Raffle is held on April 19, from 11 AM - 3PM. Winners will be called after the drawing and are asked to make every effort to pick up their prizes by 5 PM. The funds raised from the Basket Raffle will be donated to the two libraries that service our service area, Lehighton Public Library and Palmerton Area Library.

Bowmanstown Community Yard Sale will be held on April 25th. More info will follow. Families in the community will be holding yard sales. BARC will be selling plants and chocolate, and the Lions Club will be selling waffles. Stop by and say Hi!

Bowmanstown Block Party is being held on Saturday, July 12th. More info/details will follow.... FREE music, Food Trucks/Stands, Bingo, Basket Raffle, Corn Hole Tournament and FREE children's activities.
Bring your chair and stay all day or come for a short time. Hope to see you at the Block Party. All funds raised will be used by the three partner organizations to further their community work. The sponsors/partners are BARC, Bowmanstown Volunteer Fire Company and Bowmanstown-Parryville Lions Club.

Funds raised from these events assist the Lions with community projects and donations to community groups and scholarships for graduating High School Seniors.

The Bowmanstown-Parryville Lions Club is holding their December Block Shoot on Sunday, December 21, 2025. The shoot is held at the Bowmanstown Rod and Gun Club, 525 Gun Club Road, Palmerton, PA.

10 shoots. $3 per shoot per shooter. Prizes: Ham, Pork Loin or 50/50 CASH.

Meat Raffle Tickets available (while supplies last) for 5 Hams and 5 Pork Loins. Tickets will be entered for $25 Door Prizes at noon, 2pm. and 4 pm. Must be present to win the door prize. Cost of the Meat Raffle Tickets are 3 for $5.00. See a Lions Member to get your tickets or some tickets may be available at the shoot on December 21st. NOTE: Calls will be made to the winners, we ask the winners to claim their prizes on the 21st if possible.

Funds from the Meat Raffles and the Shoots are used to support the many activities sponsored by the Lions including.......Scholarships to 4 high school seniors, egg hunts, Christmas Parties, Halloween Treats, playground improvement, feeding programs, eye exams/glasses, and many community groups. If you would like more information about our Lions Club, please chat with a Lion at the next shoot.
