We are incredibly grateful to the BCDC for awarding Hope & Healing Therapeutic Riding with funding through the Play It Forward Grant.

Because of their generosity, we were able to purchase new riding helmets for our participants.

While a helmet may seem like a simple piece of equipment, it plays a critical role in keeping our riders safe and protected while they build confidence, independence, strength, and connection through horses. Safety is always our top priority, and having properly fitted, up-to-date helmets helps ensure every participant can enjoy the benefits of therapeutic riding with an added layer of protection.

These helmets will serve children in our program for years to come. 💜

𝐇𝐨𝐩𝐞 & 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠 received $800 for riding helmets to support participant safety in its equine-assisted programming.

Our Hope & Healing Therapeutic Riding Spring Session begins May 19—and spots are limited.

This program is for kids who need more than just an activity.

It’s for the kids who:

• need a place to feel safe and seen

They don’t have to be ready to ride.

Some start in the saddle.
Some start on the ground.

Because healing and confidence don’t come from rushing. They come from meeting each child exactly where they are.
