One of our favorite things about these nights is seeing how excited the kids get when they walk through the doors.

They play games, watch movies, do crafts, eat dinner, make friends, and honestly just get to be kids for a few hours. By the end of the night, they're usually asking when they get to come back.

At the same time, parents and caregivers get a chance to breathe, recharge, connect with other families, or simply enjoy a little quiet time.

If you're a foster, adoptive, kinship, caregiver family, or just need a break, we'd love to help you out.

🎂 Help Us Celebrate Foster, Adoptive, & Kinship Children!

At ACTION’s Village Center, we’re launching monthly Birthday Bashes during our Respite Nights to celebrate the amazing children we serve.

For many children, birthdays can be difficult or overlooked. We want every child to feel seen, celebrated, and special.

💙 Ways to Sponsor a Birthday Child:
🧁 $15 = Cupcakes for one child
🎈 $20 = Birthday decorations for one child
🎉 $35 = Complete birthday celebration for one child

We currently need 2 Birthday Sponsors for June.

Businesses, churches, organizations, families, and individuals are all welcome to participate. You can sponsor one child, multiple children, or an entire month of celebrations.

Every sponsorship helps create a memory that lasts far longer than the party itself.

We told them we needed 100 shirts by next week, and they basically said, “We understood the assignment.” 😎👕✨

Not only did they get the job done, but they delivered exactly what we needed so our kids and staff could be ready to represent ACTION in style! 🌤️🧡

🌤️ We are currently looking for a sponsor for our June Respite Night!

Our June Respite Night will be held on June 19 from 4:00 PM–8:00 PM and provides a safe, supportive environment for youth in out-of-home placements, including fictive kinship care, foster care, and adopted youth.

During the evening, children will be served dinner, participate in activities, play with peers, and spend time with our trauma-informed, trained staff while their caregivers enjoy a well-deserved break.

A sponsorship of $300 covers the entire cost of the event and allows us to offer this experience completely free to the families we serve.

By sponsoring June Respite Night, you are helping create a night of fun, connection, and belonging for children while providing support and relief to caregivers who need it most.
