Be Ministries Additionally, we collaborate with other ministries to train church leaders.

We work alongside healthcare professionals from Honduras and the USA to provide physical, occupational, and speech therapy for special needs children in rural Honduras. Additionally, we collaborate with other ministries to train church leaders and pastors. Future goals include a special needs camp on ministry property where special needs children and their parents can have fun together, escape day-to-day activities, and realize the potential of their child.

The tent raising was quite impressive and deserves its own video. Watching 16 men raise the tent reminds us that throughout Scripture, tents often became places where people met with God. We pray that this tent will be more than a shelter—that it will be a place where lives are transformed by the gospel. 🇭🇳

A little glimpse of Camp Day 1. 🙌

Praise God for perfect weather and 6 youth who accepted Christ last night! What a beautiful way to begin the weekend.

I’ve never seen anything quite like yesterday. It took 16 men to raise the massive tent and to carefully position the trailer that serves as the stage. Later, the Commissioned International staff brought in and set up 150 chairs, transforming the area into a place ready for worship and ministry.

The CI missionaries, staff, Impacto Juvenil volunteers, and CI team accomplished so much in just one day:

✅ Raised the main tent
✅ Set up 150 chairs
✅ Practiced VBS songs for next Monday’s outreach
✅ Registered campers
✅ Made last-minute food purchases
✅ Prepared dinner for 175 people with a team of five cooks
✅ Stocked and organized the camp pulpería (snack store)
✅ Kicked off camp with welcome sessions, breakout groups, and an amazing evening worship service

It’s incredible to watch so many people using their gifts to serve the Lord. Thank you for praying for everyone involved. Please continue to pray for the campers, leaders, missionaries, volunteers, and staff throughout the week as God continues to work in powerful ways.

ALSO PRAY FOR GOOD WEATHER AND THAT WE HAVE NO PLUMBING OR WATER ISSUES ON CAMPUS. 🙏

Team arrival day is always a whirlwind! There are last-minute purchases to make, kitchen supplies to organize, beds to prepare, grass to cut, and trash to burn. We even found time to hang an antique bell that I’ve been wanting to put up for years. And somehow, I managed to bake a hummingbird cake, too!

This morning we gathered with our kitchen staff for a time of prayer and orientation, asking the Lord to guide and strengthen us as we serve together as a team.

Today we welcomed our cooks, translators, drivers, and the Commissioned International team. We’re thankful everyone arrived safely and are excited to see all that God has planned in the days ahead. Please pray for strength, good health, safety, and that lives will be changed for His glory. 🇭🇳❤️🙏

We hope to never have to use these, but we have them just in case. 🙏🏻 🇭🇳

Everything around here has undergone quite a transformation over the past couple of weeks!

Commissioned International sent two of their commercial stoves and three of the biggest cooking pots I’ve ever seen for their upcoming youth camp.

We also upgraded our kitchen with a larger refrigerator—now filled to the brim with fresh vegetables. We also bought two additional stainless steel prep tables, two more picnic tables (even if they don’t quite match the others!), scales, extra trash cans, dish drainers, and many other much-needed items.

It’s exciting to see the camp becoming better equipped to serve teams, campers, and the many ministries God brings our way. We’re grateful for every improvement and for everyone who has helped make it possible.

Praise God! What a huge answer to prayer! 🙌🏻🙏🏻

Before leaving today, Tim taught Mario how to attach the Bush Hog, and today Mario got started clearing the area where we’ll be setting up the ropes courses for the camp next weekend. Thank you so much, Tim! 🙌🏻 Also thanks to Ben for consulting on the phone today.

We also reviewed some safety precautions for working in tall grass, including how to protect themselves from bees and snakes. Ana walked well ahead of the tractor, watching for hidden stumps and rocks so Mario could work safely. I love it when people listen, work together, and follow directions. It makes the people and equipment safer. ❤️
