Today, we remember and acknowledge the victims of Prijedor on the Day of White Ribbons.

On May 31, 1992, non-Serb citizens in Prijedor were ordered to mark their homes with white sheets and wear white armbands, a practice that became a symbol of discrimination, persecution, and the atrocities that followed.

Today, we honor the innocent victims, stand with the survivors and their families, and reaffirm our commitment to truth, remembrance, justice, and the promise that such crimes must never happen again.
