At Central Rappahannock River Habitat for Humanity, we are celebrating the incredible strength, stability, and self-reliance that affordable housing brings to local families. We have some massive milestones to share—and a big opportunity for you to double your impact right here in our community!

The Power of Mutual Self-Help

We are currently finishing a round of 8 self-help homes. Once complete, we will have brought nearly $5 million in federal funds into our region and completed a total of 24 homes! Looking ahead to 2027-2028, we’ve set an ambitious goal to build 32 more homes.

🗓️ Big News: To hit these targets, we are expanding our volunteer build schedule to 4 days a week (Wednesday–Saturday) starting July 8!

🚐 Protecting Our Seniors
We are officially launching our new Senior Citizen Heating & Cooling Repair Program to help vulnerable elderly neighbors age in place safely. While we leverage federal USDA 504 grants for the repair work, we urgently need local community funding to get this program off the ground. Your donations today will directly purchase our essential program service van and specialized HVAC tools.

💳 Expanding Local Lending
We are preparing to expand our affordable lending services to the broader community. To manage this expansion and navigate these complex programs, we need your help to fund the hiring and training of specialized staff to build a permanent financial pipeline for local families.
