VoH members: we're getting coached this Saturday!

Where: The Elm - 540 S. Maple, BG (corner of S. Maple and Sand Ridge)
When: 12-4pm (arrive by 11:45 if possible)
What: Polishing our contest set for Wooster!

We may need some help loading risers at BGAC to bring over. If you are able to help, please reply to the Slack thread in the channel.

Recommend eating before you get there, so you aren't starving the whole time...

If you can make it to any part of that 4 hour session, that's better than not coming at all!

It's time for "Social Night"! You'll find us TONIGHT (9/15) at Campus Pollyeyes, at about 9pm (see below)! If you're in town and available, come out and join us! (We're not buyin', but we may do some singin'... 😀)

What's "Social Night", you ask? The plan is to knock off rehearsal a little early, and head out on the town for some (BYO) fellowship & song.

So come visit us for rehearsal the 3rd Tuesday of every month, at BG Alliance Church (1161 E Napoleon Rd, Bowling Green, OH 43402) from 7-9pm. At 9pm, we'll head over to Campus Pollyeyes (440 E Court St, BG).

There, we can share some conversation, sing some songs... maybe some pizza & liquid refreshments if you're inclined... and you can find out more about what it is to be a barbershopper!

No rehearsal/meeting tonight (9/1/26)!

The Snyders are on vacation this week, and our asst director is unavailable. Without a legitimate "Plan C" ready to go, and out of respect for everyone's valuable time, we will be cancelling tonight's rehearsal.

Please take some time (you now have over 3 hours free tonight) to work on some of the things from our coaching session on 8/22. You can find them in the Slack "general discussion" from Aug. 25.

Also, please download the two new Christmas songs CC uploaded to Choir Genius ("Merry Christmas, Darling" and "Santa Claus Is Coming To Town") and take a look at them for next week. Let's keep this incredible momentum going forward toward Fall Convention and beyond.

Remember, great practice makes for great rehearsals, which result in great performances!

This Tuesday night's rehearsal will be "VOH In the Wild"!

This Tuesday's "Pop-up Rehearsal" location will be Downtown BG, in the alcove between the old bank and Novel Blends coffee shop (address is roughly 123 S. Main). We will get started at 7p as usual and it will be a full rehearsal... just outside... and in public! (Those who may need to sit at times, bring your own chair.)

The idea is to just "get out there" among our home community, be visible and just do our thing. Members that have guests coming, please let them know of the change of venue.

Following the rehearsal portion of the chapter meeting, we will head to Campus Pollyeyes for "Social Night" food and fellowship at 9p

MISS SINGING? THIS MIGHT BE YOUR SIGN.

The Voices of Harmony are having a great summer. We’ve welcomed several new members recently, the sound is getting stronger every week, and we’re working hard toward our fall contest.

And here’s the important part: There is still plenty of time to jump in and be part of it.

Maybe you sang in choir in high school or college. Maybe you played in band. Maybe music used to be a big part of your life, but somewhere between work, family, and everything else, you stopped making it.

We’d love to help you find your way back.

You do not need to be a trained musician.
You do not need to know how to read music.
You do not need years of barbershop experience.

We provide learning tracks for every song, and you’ll be surrounded by guys who want you to succeed.

What you do need is a love of music, a willingness to learn, and the desire to make some pretty incredible music with a great group of guys.

And if you’re looking at this photo thinking, “I could probably fit in with those guys…” You probably could.

Come sing with us. Come see what we’re building. And if you decide it’s for you, there’s still time to get on the risers with us this fall.
