I am so thankful to have used the funds from my Local Drive Scholarship towards my tuition at Wright State University-Lake Campus, where I am a junior pursuing a degree in agronomy and agricultural studies. This summer I will continue working in agricultural operations at Nutrien Ag Solutions in Findlay. After graduation I look forward to serving the farmers of Northwest Ohio in my future career as a crop advisor.

Being a recipient of the Local Drive Trades and Agriculture scholarship in 2025 was such an honor and truly helped to lift the financial burden of paying for college. I am currently a first year student at Wilmington College majoring in agriculture with a concentration in business while minoring in business administration. I serve as chapter secretary of Agricultultural Communicators of Tomorrow, office administrator of Quaker Activities Council, and participate in WC Aggies, WC Farm Bureau, and our NCAA affiliated Cross Country/Track and Field programs. Everyday I have the opportunity to learn about the growing needs of American agriculture through a blend of academic theory and practical, hands-on experience. Regardless of whether I am working with livestock out at the academic farm, in the classroom doing data analysis on the current commodity market, or in the greenhouse learning all things plants, everyday is different and I love it! I am so grateful for the opportunity to attend this institution and to have received this scholarship last year.
