Congratulations to our Bluegrass Storm Select 11U Girls team on their performance at the Madisonville “2025 War on the Floor” tournament!

These girls showed tremendous improvement from our last tournament. They kicked off strong with a dominant 19-point victory in game one, then battled hard in a 7-point loss in their second matchup. Sunday’s final game showcased their heart and determination - falling behind 9-0 early, they fought back to tie the game before ultimately falling by 7 points.

The growth and resilience this team continues to show is remarkable. Their ability to battle back from adversity and never give up is exactly what we want to see. So proud of how these young ladies competed all weekend! 🏆🏀

Congratulations to our 5th Grade Girls team on an outstanding performance at the Madisonville "2025 War on the Floor" tournament!

These young ladies battled their way through tough competition all weekend and earned a well-deserved runner-up finish. Their hard work, dedication, and teamwork throughout the tournament was impressive to watch.

What an incredible accomplishment for this group! They should be proud of how they competed and represented themselves on the court. Great job, girls - you've got a bright future ahead! 🏆🏀

What a day for the Bluegrass Storm Select Boys 11U team!

These boys showed incredible heart and determination, going 1-1 in thrilling fashion. Game one was a nail-biter that went to overtime, where they battled until the final buzzer before falling by just one point. The fight and resilience they displayed was something special to watch.

They carried that competitive fire into game two and absolutely dominated, winning by 20 points! When this team plays with confidence and energy, they're tough to beat.

Proud of how these young men competed today - the close loss shows their grit, and the big win shows their potential. Keep building on this momentum, boys! 🏀

Bluegrass Storm Select Girls had a day of ups and downs at the tournament.

Game 1: The girls played outstanding basketball - moving the ball well, controlling the tempo, and taking high-quality shots. Their teamwork and basketball IQ were on full display.

Game 2: Sometimes the shots just don't fall and things don't go your way - that's basketball! The girls showed character and kept fighting through adversity.

Every game is a chance to learn and grow. Proud of these girls for their effort and determination! On to the next one! 💪

The Bluegrass Storm Select Boys 10u team kicked off their basketball tournament in Madisonville with a strong showing on day one. After falling short in a hard-fought first game, the boys regrouped and delivered an outstanding performance in their second matchup, defeating the Owensboro Gators.

These young players demonstrated great heart and determination, bouncing back from their opening loss to secure a crucial win. The team's week-to-week improvement continues to shine through, and their growth as both individual players and as a unit was on full display today. Looking forward to seeing what they accomplish as the tournament continues.

🏀🎉 What a day it was at Hoopz Showcase in Hopkinsville, Kentucky!

Bluegrass Storm Select had an incredible showing today, and we couldn't be more proud of our teams!

🥈 Our 11U team battled hard and secured a well-deserved 2nd place finish in the tournament - what an amazing achievement!

🎯 Our 10U team celebrated their first victory of the season - the first of many to come!

The effort, teamwork, and determination displayed by all our boys today was truly outstanding. Watching them compete with such heart and hustle makes us proud to be part of Bluegrass Storm Select.

Congratulations to both teams, coaches, and families. Here's to many more great games ahead! 💪

We couldn't be more proud of ALL our Bluegrass Storm Select players! From our youngest ballers to our experienced athletes, every single player has shown incredible effort, determination, and heart on the court.

Watching these kids compete at tournaments like Slamfest shows exactly what our program is all about. Whether it's our Girls competing in black jerseys with that signature orange basketball design, or our boys team crushing it in their black uniforms, each player represents BLUEGRASS STORM SELECT with pride!

Our goal every week is simple: GET BETTER. 📈

When our players face unfamiliar situations, tough opponents, and challenging games, they're learning life lessons that extend far beyond basketball:
• How to overcome obstacles
• How to push through adversity
• How to build unshakeable confidence
• How to support teammates through thick and thin

These experiences are shaping not just better basketball players, but stronger, more resilient young people ready to tackle whatever challenges come their way.
