Help-Portrait is a global movement of photographers who believe everyone is worth celebrating, and photography is a powerful tool we can do that with for those in need - homeless, near homelessness, worried, etc. Maybe you've never had a family picture, had your last picture taken 20 years ago, or don't have access to professional photography - we would love to meet you, take your picture, print i

- Food and drinks provided by local restaurants
- Make-up artists present to provide free makeovers to anyone who wants one for their picture.
- Professional photographers with studio set-ups to take guests' photos.
- Printing and framing on-site.
- Each family/individual walks out with professionally printed photos for the holiday

With 30 volunteers, 4 photographers, 2 makeup-artists, and many vendors, BG Help-Portrait successfully launched its first event 12/07/13 and directly served 42 families. We look forward to working with our non-profit partners again to serve more families in 2014.

While families and other community members had their portraits taken and waited for their photos to print on-site, volunteers and guests enjoyed getting to know each other over pizza and had some fun at the Kid's Craft Table.
