What a wonderful Fall Plant Sale last Saturday! 🌱🍂🍁 Thank you to everyone who came out to support!

All of the plants provided at our sales are Native Plants! Native plants are locally adapted to regional soil and climate conditions, making them an environmentally–friendly choice for the garden. They support many pollinators, including local butterflies, bees, birds, and more! Even here in the fall time, which is one of the best times to plant! 🍁

Missed out? Dont worry! We will be back for our Spring Plant Sale in May and again next September every year.

Thank you to our tabling partners The Xerces Society and Country Garden Club of Perrysburg for being with us for the day!

The Autumn Wetland Planting program at J.C. Reuthinger Memorial Preserve was a great success today!

BGSU Thompson Scholars and WCPD volunteers came together and planted over 140 native trees and shrubs in an hour and a half!! 💥🌳🌸

Some species included Swamp White Oak, Hackberry, Buttonbush, Ninebark, and Elderberry.

Volunteers still had some time leftover to get some seed collecting done in the nursery to wrap up the day. What stellar volunteers! ⭐

Thank you all volunteers for braving the rain and mud and helping us get so much planted in our forested wetland restoration area. Your positive impact is making great strides in Wood County's conservation efforts! 💚

🍀You requested, you got it! The Native Plant t-shirts are back until the end of September!

Every design made has meaning and crafted by real humans. Each piece is a proud work of wearable art! In this piece we are showcasing native plants! What's so cool about them?

🌸They grow deep and complex root systems that hold soil in place and prevent erosion.

🌱They support beneficial pollinators and wildlife, which have co-evolved together to thrive throughout the region.

💧They require less water and maintenance, reducing the need for pesticides and fertilizer that can pollute local rivers and streams.

The digital storefront is open until September 28th, 2026. Get yours today or a gift for a friend! Shipping and HQ pickup are available.
