June is Men’s Mental Health Awareness Month!

On June 3rd, our Bereaved Brothers and the men in their support systems attended a Hot Rods game together—a night of connection, encouragement, and healing.

We’re incredibly thankful to FirstBank for generously providing tickets and a suite for our group to enjoy the game in comfort and camaraderie.

Mental health matters. Men often carry heavy burdens in silence, but nights like this remind us all that they’re not alone. Simply gathering and knowing there is support can make a world of difference.
At Glory Baby Ministry, we provide burial gowns and memorial packages for families grieving the loss of a baby through miscarriage, stillbirth, or early infant loss. Our services are offered at no cost to families who have experienced losses ranging from 4 weeks gestation to infants up to 12 pounds.

We understand that grief has no timeline, so we accept package requests for both recent and past losses. Every grieving family matters—and we are honored to walk alongside you.

This goes out to all those who are grieving the loss of a baby…

I don’t hate you, 2024, but you were a difficult year… full of challenges! 💔⚡️

You showed me that life can change 🌪️ and taught me to trust myself more. ✨

…but above all, you made me understand that my health—whether physical, emotional, or mental—is what really matters! 🧘‍♀️❤️💪

There are still things I can’t understand 🤔, but I believe that with time ⏳, I will understand the reasons and purposes of everything that happened. 🌟🙏

Thank you to everyone that have texted, called, prayed, thought about us and had a sweet treat from Starbucks

Every year (on this day) the memories flood back of the phone calls we had to make, the voice of the doctor saying “𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙧𝙚’𝙨 𝙣𝙤 𝙝𝙚𝙖𝙧𝙩𝙗𝙚𝙖𝙩”, the pain (emotional and physical) with each contraction, holding our daughters lifeless body- weighing only 1lb 2oz. The tears and emotions weigh heavily each year.

𝚈𝚎𝚜, 𝚒𝚝’𝚜 𝚋𝚎𝚎𝚗 𝟷𝟺 𝚢𝚎𝚊𝚛𝚜, 𝚋𝚞𝚝 𝚠𝚎 𝚠𝚒𝚕𝚕 𝚗𝚎𝚟𝚎𝚛 𝚏𝚘𝚛𝚐𝚎𝚝 𝚝𝚑𝚊𝚝 𝚘𝚗 𝙳𝚎𝚌𝚎𝚖𝚋𝚎𝚛 𝟹, 𝟸𝟶𝟷𝟶 𝚠𝚎 𝚐𝚘𝚝 𝚝𝚑𝚎 𝚝𝚒𝚝𝚕𝚎 𝙼𝚘𝚖𝚖𝚢 𝚊𝚗𝚍 𝙳𝚊𝚍𝚍𝚢.

As a way to grieve through the loss of our daughter my husband, Josh Heffinger, made this video a couple of weeks after she was stillborn. We watch this together as a family every year.

How do I even put into words that we have served 500 losses over 10 months? 💔 It is both heartbreaking and heartwarming at the same time. 🥺
