The Bowling Green Council of Teachers of Mathematics is a professional organization of students enrolled in teacher education programs, planning to teach mathematics. BGCTM is open to all students, particularly Secondary Integrated Mathematics, Middle Childhood (Mathematics Concentration), and Early Childhood majors. We currently have over 200 members and are affiliated with the Ohio Council of Teachers of Mathematics (OCTM) and National Council of Teachers of Mathematics (NCTM).

We explored what it means for young learners to be true doers of mathematics—curious, capable, and ready to make sense of the world around them. Together, we dived into ways to thoughtfully modify tasks, elevate student thinking, and bring integrated STEM learning to life in meaningful, engaging ways.
