Dolly Parton’s impact has reached far beyond the stage — and we see that impact right here in Warren County and communities across Southern Kentucky, including Allen, Barren, Butler, Edmonson, Hart, Logan, Metcalfe, and Monroe counties.

Through Dolly Parton's Imagination Library, children in our region are gaining access to books at an early age, helping families build strong reading habits and giving kids a stronger foundation for learning before they ever enter a classroom.

We get asked a lot what volunteering here actually looks like. It's less dramatic than you'd think, and it matters more than you'd guess:

▪️ Picking up groceries for neighbors staying in medical respite
▪️ Handling mail, filing, and other paperwork
▪️ Light upkeep and repairs on our housing units

Congratulations to Paula Cox on completing one year of National service with Americorps in placement with us here at HOTEL INC. During her tenure with Americorps, Paula became the primary lead for the Street Medicine pop up clinics with Room in the Inn and at the Life Nav Center and has helped us to expand our capacity for housing focused street outreach and services for people experiencing homelessness. We are excited to welcome Paula aboard to continue this work in a full time role. Thank you, Americorps for making this expansion possible!

Congratulations to our 3rd Foundations cohort who just completed the course at the end of July. This cohort met at the Life Nav Collaboration Center. Like the name, Foundations provides solid foundational material for successfully obtaining and maintaining housing, providing critical tools like budgeting, credit, ways to increase and save income and overcome barriers and habits that keep participants from moving forward successfully.
